Future proofing and change-making at Hampton
Hampton Estate is a diversified, family-run estate located on the southern slopes of the Hogs Back within the Surrey Hills AONB. The 2,250 acres of historic parkland, grazing meadows, arable fields, mixed woodlands, hop gardens and traditional farmyards form the backbone of the estate which is home to a myriad of businesses and opportunities.
Hampton Estate thrives on its rural diversity. The ambition is to enhance the environment and support the local community whilst also productively managing the natural asset that is the land. The estate wants to ensure that its businesses thrive, its environment flourishes and its natural beauty is enjoyed.
There will be a short amble through the garden, followed by time to see the regenerative, Pasture for Life herd of Sussex cows, and reflect on the biodiversity opportunities in the Parkland.
There will also be a chance for the enthusiasts to see the plant room of the newly installed water source heat pump. Family and advisers will then share their thoughts on the opportunities and challenges the Estate now faces in preparing itself for a future defined by the biodiversity, climate and health crises.
We will meet for refreshments at 4.30pm before a garden and farm tour. This will be followed by a drinks reception, AGM and dinner.
To join us, please register below. The cost is £37.50 +VAT.
