CLA East - Access Surgery

With spring in the air and lockdown measures easing, there continues to be significant focus on access issues in the British countryside. 

The increase in people using the countryside and their lack of knowledge of the Countryside Code is causing many landowners and farmers serious challenges over trespassing, damage of crops, potentially dangerous livestock situations and a range of other issues.

CLA National Access Advisor Sophie Dwerryhouse, will hold an online advice surgery for CLA East members on Thursday 22 April. 

During this one hour event, Sophie will be in conversation with Tim Woodward, CLA East Rural Surveyor and will cover the following: 

  • Definitive map modification orders
  • Section 31(6) landowner deposits
  • Public path orders
  • Landowner responsibilities in terms of maintenance
The audience will also have the opportunity to join the conversation and ask your own questions. 
 
The event will be held as a meeting and will not be recorded as it is an open platform for discussion.
