CLA members across the North are invited to an online meeting on 24 March from 12.30pm to 1.30pm which will explore the basics of media and public relations, and how it can be used to benefit a rural business.
Nick Glaves, Managing Director at Red Stag Media, a seasoned specialist in rural public relations, will present key thoughts on how rural businesses can become more media savvy to promote their ventures through both traditional and social media.
Attendees will be given an overview of:
- The media landscape in 2021
- Why & when to engage with the media
- What makes a good story – content creation
- Expert PR tips for establishing and building your reputation
- Measuring success
This meeting is specifically geared to accommodate small to medium sized rural businesses, such as a breweries, farm shops, food delivery services or hospitality offerings. The event will offer practical pointers on how to maximise positive exposure of your business.
The meeting, chaired by CLA North Communications & PR Manager Henk Geertsema, will last no more than an hour and will conclude with an interactive 20 minute question and answer session.
