CLA East Farm Walk- Future-proofing with Miscanthus

The business case for the perennial energy crop miscanthus continues to strengthen due to the attractive long-term contracts available and secure markets for the crop.

At this free farm walk and tour the CLA has teamed up with miscanthus supply chain specialists Terravesta to provide insight into the benefits of growing a crop which is an increasingly popular diversification option.

Miscanthus can present long-term financial certainty and environmental benefits for UK farmers, including the ability to stabilise flooded land.

The event takes place on 20th February and includes a full English breakfast and a presentations from Terravesta and the CLA at the George and Dragon, in Hagworthingham, Lincolnshire. Guests will then drive to the nearby farm at Sutterby for a tour of the Miscanthus crop.
