As owners of land on the edge of towns and villages, CLA members play a key role in providing more housing. However, members know only too well that getting land developed is a complex business with significant risks. There are many stages in what is a long term process with professional input needed on property, planning, design, legal, financial amongst many other aspects.

Philip Thomas, Director of Herbert R Thomas, Land Agents, Cowbridge will be looking at key considerations in deciding if land is suitable for development.
Hermione Warmington, CLA Property & Business Policy Adviser, will look at alternative affordable housing options.
Community Housing Cymru will be speaking about the provision of affordable housing from a housing association perspective.
