CLA Midlands: Agroforestry - the benefits and challenges

Agroforestry - the benefits and challenges

With the future emphasis on grant supported farms to provide public goods, and in particular the importance of more trees in our landscape, agroforestry seems to provide opportunities to deliver a wide range of benefits for the public, the landowner and livestock.

Planting trees in pastures is not without its challenges, but the rewards can be environmentally and financially rewarding.
