Multiple winner of Norfolk’s Best Large Attraction (EDP Norfolk Tourism Awards), Pensthorpe Natural Park is perfect as a full day out for families, bird watchers, wildlife enthusiasts and garden lovers.

Located along the river Wensum, in the heart of North Norfolk, this special site includes 700 acres of woodland walks and lakes; four stunning gardens, including the Millennium Garden designed by renowned plantsman Piet Oudolf; WildRootz - a huge outdoor adventure playground and; Hootz House, an award winning indoor play area. For three exciting years Pensthorpe also played host to the hugely popular BBC Springwatch series.

The day will include a behind the scenes tour on the Pensthorpe Explorer to discover the secret side of the Wensum Valley and a tour of the Millennium Garden. Tours will be followed with lunch in the Five Cottages building, Pensthorpe’s special events venue.

10am               Registration and refreshments in Five Cottages

10.30               Norfolk AGM

11.10               Welcome and introduction to Pensthorpe from Bill Jordan

11.30               Walking tour of the Millennium Garden and Explorer tour of wider park

1.30pm            Return to Five Cottages for picnic lunch

2.30                  Depart or opportunity to visit the park
