Kings Walden Estate is a traditional farming estate that was put together by the Harrison family in the late nineteenth century and has remained with the family since then. It has transformed in recent years from a tenanted estate into a commercial arable farm with a sizeable beef and lamb enterprise along with a portfolio of let cottages and a small amount of commercial lets in redundant farm buildings.

There are numerous woodlands that are home to a shoot and which have recently been entered into a Countryside Stewardship Scheme. Considerable investment has been made in recent years to transform the farming system, including a new grain store and cattle sheds. The estate tour will look at both of these and give a fascinating insight into a private estate.
