Royal Welsh Show Smallholding and Countryside Festival

With an emphasis on celebrating rural life, the festival will be packed with all different types of livestock, horses and other animals taking part in a busy two-day schedule of competitions and displays.
We will once again be present at the Festival and look forward to welcoming you to our pavilion.
Our Director, Rebecca Williams, and advisers, Charles de Winton, Rhianne Jones and Margaret Street, will be on hand over the weekend to help you with any queries that you may have, or discuss the issues of the moment. Territory Manager, Yvonne Hill will be on hand to answer any membership questions that you may have and would be delighted to meet any of your friends who you think may benefit from membership of the CLA.

If you would rather you can just visit us for a cup of tea, biscuits and a comfortable seat.

There is lots to do at the Festival, so why not make it a family day out.

The Smallholders Centre will host free talks and workshops, and is the place to stock up on agricultural and smallholders essentials, where you will be able to pick up anything from a couple of chickens to a new bucket.

Gardening stands, wool handling competitions and shearing demonstrations are just a few of the things that you can see at the Festival. As at other Royal Welsh event’s there is also a fantastic opportunity to sample the very best food and drink that Wales has to offer and enjoy the street food area and the live music.

We look forward to seeing you there.
