CLA South East - Community Energy

This seminar will explore the growing market for low-carbon community energy projects and the investment opportunities these offer landowners. 

The aim is that members leave the session understanding where the opportunities might exist on their own estates and how to set about exploiting them. Speakers will look at the legislative framework, technological options, current financing mechanisms, and how to develop a community energy project. Speakers will include Kayle Ente, Chief Executive of the Brighton & Hove Energy Services Cooperative (BHESCo),and Bean Beanland, Senior Consultant, low-carbon heat from ReEnergise. The community energy project currently under development at Firle will provide the live case study.

Breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
