CLA South West Visit to Bright Seeds

CLA members Bright Seeds will host us at their Swallowcliffe trial site in Wiltshire. All the latest game and stewardship crops will be on show, and technical staff will be on hand during the day. Evaluating how crops have withheld the winter will be a major focus.

David and Sue Bright established Bright Seeds in 1988. A family-run business that daughter Anna joined in 1995 and son Christopher followed suit in 2002. Now Bright Seeds has a team of over 15 people who specialise in a wide variety of Forage MaizeGrain MaizeWhite MaizeBio Fuel Maize as well as Game cover, Stewardship, Grass SeedWildflowers and Game Feed.

Bright Seeds has evolved over the years, moving with the ever-changing agricultural market to provide clients with up to date knowledge and advice. All of their products are extensively trialled in the UK and Bright Seeds has over 20 trial sites, which includes two main Game cover sites.

They are able to source seed from all over the world and have many international contacts. They are able to blend their own mixtures and are supported by Natural England, RSPB and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
