Diversification Demystified

The CLA invites you to an engaging event that will deliver insight and inspiration on how you can diversify your rural business and make it a financial success story.

Hear unique first-hand accounts from landowners who are driving diversification with ambitious projects that have transformed their farms, estates and businesses.

Chaired by CLA Deputy President Mark Bridgeman, the day will also include presentations from national and local government and a panel of industry experts.

We will conclude with a networking lunch.

Speakers include:

Guy Taylor, The Granary Estates, who has transformed two redundant farm buildings into a luxury wedding and events venue situated on the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire border.

Tom Blofeld, BeWILDerwood, runs a highly imaginative family adventure park in a Norfolk woodland with magical treehouses, tree-high mazes, rope bridges, slides and zip wires.

George Unwin, Director of Baythorne Hall, one of East Anglia's most exciting destinations for food and wine lovers. They created a cookery school, wine and kitchen shop, event venue and self-catering accommodation from their disused farm buildings.

Tom Raynham, Chief Executive, will share with you how The Raynham Estate has converted a brownfield site into one of the largest solar farms in the country, with 91ha of solar panels.
